Technique
Fluorescence in situ Hybridization
Description
PAML (Non-Blood Sample): Fluorescence In situ hybridization (FISH) is performed to detect deletion of 5q or loss of a chromosome 5, deletion of 7q or loss of a chromosome 7, PML/RARA gene fusion, RUNX1/RUNX1T1 gene fusion, CBFB/MYH11 gene fusion, MLL (11q23) rearrangement, and NUP98 (11p15) rearrangement from pediatric non-blood samples.
