The UCSF Cytogenetics Laboratory is a full-service cytogenetics laboratory, providing comprehensive chromosomal/genomic analysis using both conventional and advanced technologies. The UCSF Cytogenetics lab is accredited and certified by CAP (the College of American Pathologists) and CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments). The laboratory is also a certified cytogenomic laboratory by the State of California Department of Public Health for testing specimens from the state prenatal screening program. The UCSF Cytogenetics Laboratory is committed to provide high quality service to our patients.
