Barry Tong is a genetic counselor who helps patients and families understand how genes can be linked to cancer. He has a special focus on the reasons people develop breast cancer, looking at both common and rare causes.
At the University of Michigan, Tong earned a master's degree in human genetics and a master of public health degree, with a focus on health behavior and health education.
