Liane Abrams is a licensed certified genetic counselor with the Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program. She specializes in genetic counseling for inherited cancer syndromes but also has extensive experience in pediatric genetics, with a special interest in fragile X-associated disorders. She was previously a genetic counselor at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and a genetic specialist at the National Fragile X Foundation.
Abrams completed her master's degree in genetic counseling at the University of California, Berkeley. She is an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Genetic Counseling Program at California State University, Stanislaus.
